Hazelnuts are a source of vitamin C, and helpful in combating a vitamin B 12 deficiency, as they are also a source of folate. Roasted hazelnuts are also slightly higher in thiamine and potassium than their raw counterparts.
Great for blending in to smoothies or grinding in to a gluten-free flour for extra earthy flavour.
